Amit is the Venture Builder & Early Innovation Lead at Nura Global Innovation Lab, where he spearheads the Pears Challenge - which in 2026 focuses on building climate-resilience ventures across East Africa.
As a PhD researcher and practitioner, his work sits at the intersection of technological innovation, sustainable development, and social impact.
Amit has extensive experience designing and managing international development projects, specifically in the AgTech sector. He leads the Agri-Guru project, a digital advisory platform for smallholder farmers in India, and has managed large-scale entrepreneurship programs for agricultural interns from Nepal, Thailand, Zambia and Malawi. His professional background spans venture capital, strategic consulting, and digital marketing, with a focus on creating scalable, market-based solutions for global challenges.
In addition to his role at Nura Global, Amit is a PhD candidate in Sustainable Development at Tel Aviv University, where his research evaluates the impact of digital tools on agricultural productivity. He also serves as a Co-Teaching for Sustainable Entrepreneurship MBA seminars, bridging the gap between academic theory and "founder-first" business models.
